Current Status

What’s up with me, why so little updates? University has started four week ago and I am somewhat busy with projects there unfortunately. I finished re-visions of all my past themes, but still the themeviewer is closed to updates (their laziness is really starting to piss me off; not once, not twice, but at least three times I have offered the community’s and my help to speed things up. So many people work on fixing bugs in Wordpress; I am sure that at least 10 to 50 highly motivated individuals would volunteer to fix the themeviewer “according to Mr.Wordpress’” needs.

What is still in need to be done from me this the coming month(s)?
- real release Japanese version
- release croatian version
- release polish version
- release spanish version
- update manual (to reflect credits and bug-fixes/faq)

- work on wordpress 2.5 compatibility

- do IN wordpress work (slice and dice)
- do SAMBA! work
- do Zone work

- release calendar style theme (yes, this is going to be the next big thing after magazine styles)
- release highly simplified show-hide collapsible theme that does not look like wordpress
- work on a way to pass dynamic data to flash and forth and back (seo-aspects)

- release my theme (h4x3d.com) to the public?
- come up with a new format
- launch wordpress mu more successful
- launch forums (again…)
- launch photoblog / flickr incorporation
- re-write moo

but first of all some university work:
- individual topic about offshoring in germany (did offshoring paper 50 pages before)
- finance report (LBO)
- finance and accounting exam
- SAP report and certificate
- student company work

- release deviant audio trance mix monthly
- record more vinyls, because of my recent change to Rane Serato Final Scratch
- sell vinyls before work placement London
- sort out a flat in London (may)
- visit company in London (may)

university wise:
- individual topic (late april)
- sap (5th june)
- accounting LBO paper (june)
- exams (june/july)

Possible vacations / work opportunities between July and August, commence Work placement in September till March (Maybe February); Interim assessment in Late February; Semester six March / mid March.

pfew… I better get started some serious scheduling with Google Calendars…

Status update October 2007

Thanks for the Great feedback received on Rainbow Feather Theme Version 2 (includes bugfixes and is valid xhtml and valid css)
You can get your Rainbow Feather Wordpress theme copy here.

I have been away, as you might have noticed, for about ten or so days. Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been to Sardina, Italy. Using my newly acquired Canon EOS 350D I took some interesting pictures (some 460 MB). Some are landscape, water, fire, plants, object pictures, others are hard to describe. Soon to come.

University is moderately occupying me, I worked on two themes in the meantime (two business style themes) - still the themeviewer at wordpress.net is down to updates. I wonder what the people maintaining it are doing. It is a community thing, isn’t it?
If they fail to patch it up, why not ask for help, I am sure many people would volunteer to help out.
I am overwhelmed by all the spam-themes removed from the themeviewer, it is really a joy surfing the corrected version. Have you tried it out recently?

In other news, there is a lot to do and my PC (using zalman reserator v2) is dying every randomly 3-5 hours or sometimes even 30 minutes. No warnings, nothing, just restarts. This is great when working in Photoshop, Word or Coding stuff. (not really)
I wonder if they can exchange it. Also my Sony notebook is being repaired once again. Quite a “monday”-model I got there. I tried out adconion when I was away and made a whooping 20 Euros vs. 140 Dollars that I usually make with Google Adsense. Now what? Keep Adconion, as they are nice and even call in, or change back to the more lucrative Google Adsense?

I am off, listening to Above and Beyond - Anjunabeats Volume 5 1-Hour Promo Mix and doing some work for university. Thank you all for your plenty comments, I promise when the next vacations come (in four weeks or so?), I will be dedicating it to updating my sites and themes. Maybe by then, they are done updating the themeviewer. sigh
