Wordpress 2.5 looks promising, will you switch?

popup tail

Wordpress 2.5 looks promising just by first glance, but still there must have been good reasons for the development team to postpone its release for several days. This has raised some suspicion – I will be switching several minor sites soon and follow with h4×3d.com after a few weeks.

Will you switch?

People asked me to put up a donate button or something similar, so here it is: if you care to buy me a beer or Red Bull (I drink the Dutch equivalent called Spam Energy), feel free to donate, anything is appreciated!

I, surpriseingly, switched all of my blogs to 2.5 RC1 already and have found it to be quite robust and free of any bugs related to the plugins that I use.

hey jesse, thanks for your comment and your report.
I have just used subversion to upgrade one of my sites to RC1 and you are right: so far it is stable, however half of the plugins I run here are not compatible in the latest 2.5 release candidate.

I love your site, the reports are so down-right human and non-crap, it is fun reading them.
On occassion I play on a mate’s server, but due to my latest studies I am kind of limited in my activities. If you are curious of what I am recently up to – http://www.h4×3d.com/current-status/

Thanks for checking out my blog. I loved finding my writing style, and it seems to be suiting me nicely in University as an English major (non-fiction, of course) and try to avoid reading crappy poetry and prose as much as possible.

I love how all of your plugins work together. You have mad skills, Jez. I hope you go far. Here’s my LinkedIn profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/jessepetersen
